In Norway, I wasn't sure if the lights would be visible - so I imagined my own.

Leaving gaps in the page when painting real does make a difference, it makes the colours pop and even makes you use less colours. It's pretty basic as a technique and good practice in general. I have officially learnt my lesson.

Seeing the northern lights are a chance sighting.
