Christmas markets are cold, festive and a staple to the festive season. Though can get far too busy, it's always pretty calm and empty in my depictions.

The purple colour was used to contrast the cold blues, to really highlight the heat and focus of the picture.

This was an early concept which has inspired multiple pieces. The simplicity of it kick started more complex pieces.
