This piece is interesting because it shows multiple stages of sunflower growth and how varied they are. Sunflowers are for sure my favourite subject.

As an oil piece, it was challenging to imagine, because the paint doesn't dry too quickly. The blending techniques needed a new approach but I was very happy with the outcome.

The mixes of yellow blow my mind.
